Automate 3,500 individual factsheets in numerous languages.

Solution

Client was trained to use XML for their data feeds in the way that our engine was constructed to recognise that data. XML is fed per fund/language required. Separate control files are sent for the construction of the books. All data is delivered by FTP. Automated emails are sent on receipt of the files and on completion of the rendered factsheets and factbooks. The rendered publications are in PDF format both for the internet and press.

The files are viewed on a dedicated website and downloaded accordingly. All corrections are made by rectifying the feed files and returning them in the same way. Old PDFs are superseded by the new files and the old ones are archived for comparison purposes. Each factsheet is produced in less than a second and books are constructed in around 5 minutes.
